If your insurance company is not listed above, your insurance will be considered out-of-network. Please check with your insurance to verify coverage details for out-of-network providers.
If you hold a secondary insurance policy, please let us know immediately on your intake form! This helps with billing insurance and making sure we are billing the correct insurance each time. If we are unaware of a secondary insurance and notice that insurance claims are not being reimbursed, you will be responsible for the full rate fee for each session not covered.
Some health insurance companies will reimburse clients for counseling services, and some will not. Depending on your insurance plan and coverage, a certain percentage of your service fee may be paid back to you by your health insurance company. Some conditions for which people seek counseling do not qualify for reimbursement. Please call the number on the back of your insurance card beforehand to find out their "out-of-network" (OON) reimbursement rates for Telehealth-based mental health services.
We are happy to provide you with a form called a "Superbill" that you can submit to your health insurance company for possible reimbursement. If requested, a Superbill will be provided for services that are paid at the full-fee rate. Services that have been provided and are not yet paid will not be included on Superbills.
Most health insurance companies require that a mental health diagnosis be recorded before agreeing to reimburse you. Therefore, a recorded diagnosis will be necessary if you are interested in submitting a Superbill to your health insurance company for possible reimbursement.
If a qualifying diagnosis is appropriate in your case, we will inform you of the diagnosis BEFORE you submit a Superbill to your health insurance company.

Here are some Pros and Cons to using your health insurance benefits to pay for mental health care.

Cons:
All major credit cards are accepted, including FSA and HSA. Payments are made through your online portal.
Rebel Care Counseling & Wellness, PLLC will provide you with a Superbill, which is a detailed receipt for all paid in full services with all applicable insurance codes listed. You can then submit this directly to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on your specific policy.
Another option is to utilize Reimbursify, an app that helps patients who pay out of pocket receive reimbursement from their insurance company. We provide you with a superbill which you submit via the app. Reimbursify acts as the intermediary to get claims reimbursed.
Client payments will run at the end of each session through the online payment portal. Full payment is required for each session and due at each session.
We have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy.
Here is the why: Therapist see 5-8 clients per day, where an hour is dedicated to therapy and notes. It is very hard to fill these spots if someone does not show or cancels. This lost will not be covered and the therapist will not get paid. In order to keep things running, a small fee is applied to no shows or less than 24-hour cancellations.
We understand life happens and we will work with you to reschedule - if possible. Please know that the cancellation policy is to ensure boundaries are clear so Rebel Care can provide excellent care to all the clients we get to serve.
